A Second Chance.

A Safe Home.

A New Beginning.

From Bars to Breakthroughs — We Build Futures

"Life after incarceration can feel like an unending series of locked doors."

When Ex-offenders are re-entering “society”, most encounter..

  • No place to call home — landlords and agencies turning them away.

  • No job opportunities — rejection because of a record, not ability.

  • No support system — leading to isolation and hopelessness.

  • The risk of going back — falling into the cycle of recidivism.

That’s why when the world says “NO,” we say:

YES I WILL

From Bars to Breakthroughs — Our Story

Founded by a mother who turned rejection into opportunity for her son — and countless others.

At Yes I Will Housing, we know you want to live free, stable, and independent.

To do that, you need a safe place to live, real job skills, and a community that believes in you.

The problem is, life after incarceration is full of closed doors — landlords won’t rent, employers won’t hire, and without support, many end up back where they started.

This leaves you feeling rejected, frustrated, and hopeless.

We believe your past does not define you.

We understand the challenges because we have lived them, which is why we created a program that combines housing, training, and spiritual growth in one supportive environment.

The Heart Behind Yes I Will Housing

Yes I Will Housing was founded by Miss Miranda, a mother who knows the struggle firsthand.

She raised sons — one of whom was incarcerated — and watched him face rejection after rejection upon returning home.

She saw the walls society builds: no housing, no job, no support. She knew something had to change.

"I want to be the yes to everybody else’s no." – Miranda, Founder

Fueled by faith and compassion, Miranda created Yes I Will Housing to open doors for those shut out by the system — offering not just housing, but hope, healing, and the tools for lasting independence.

"I found a family that believed in me..''

“I didn’t just find a place to live — I found a family that believed in me when I couldn’t believe in myself. Yes I Will Housing gave me structure, skills, and self-worth. Now, I mentor others coming out, just like I did.”

— Jerome T., Program Graduate

"Her team saw more in me than my past..''

"Before Yes I Will, I was sleeping on a park bench with nowhere to go. Every door I knocked on said ‘no’—no job, no housing, no chance. But Miranda and her team saw more in me than my past. Today, I have a steady job, my own apartment, and for the first time in years… hope."

— Angela R., Alumni Mentor

"I watched him transform into a man with purpose..''

“My son came home from prison with nothing but a duffel bag. Every system failed him — until he found Yes I Will. As a mother, I watched him transform into a man with purpose, faith, and a future. This program didn’t just change his life. It saved it.”

— Vanessa B., Mother of a Graduate
